Caves of Latvia
There is a beautiful place on the coast of the river Salaca called Skanaiskalns (‘loud hill’).
Engelu ala (`Angel`s cave`) has a gothic shape.
Skabumballas ala
There is a small springhead in the cave, and everybody should taste its water. If it`s sour then today`s good thoughts will fill.
Velna ala (`Devil`s cave`) = Čertová jeskyně.
- 14 m; the shape of bottle.
Seděl tam a strašil lidí přes díry jeskyně.
A z jejích slz vznikl proud.
